Hier ist eine der exklusivsten Aufnahmen einer Hotelband von den karibischen Antillen: Der Soulsänger Lloyd Baptiste und seine Band „The Joys“ spielten in den 70er Jahren im Hotel Divi Divi auf Aruba und boten feinen Soul, Funk und Disco. 1976 nahm die Band im Pyramid Sound Studio in New York eine „Hotelplatte“ auf, die heute ein begehrtes Sammlerstück ist. Nun wurden die beiden wichtigsten Titel von Sound Essence Records in Zusammenarbeit mit Lloyd Baptiste und Deliomar Laclé aus Aruba wiederveröffentlicht.
